TOKYO (AFX-ASIA) - Liberal Democratic Party policy chief Taro Aso said the ruling coalition parties will make tax reform one of the main issues in their planned anti-deflation package to be submitted to the government. "The policy chiefs of the coalition parties will decide on the key pillars of the anti-deflation package, with details to be decided next week" Aso told reporters after a coalition meeting. "The tax issue will be one of the major features of the package," he said. Aso said "there was no talk" on the possible compilation of a supplementary budget for the next fiscal year.
